WinXP to Win98 Lan Speed too slow

i have two computers they are connected through LAN in one PC their is WINXP and in another PC their is a Win98 but the speed of LAN is too slow but when i managed the LAN between Win2000 and Win98 the speed of LAN is very good ,that's mean its a problem of bug that is present in WinXP so plz help me

Try adjusting the TCP recieve window.

I have similar problem but in one special case only.

Copying from Windows XP to Windows 98 - normal speed

Copying from Windows 98 to Windows XP initiated on Windows 98 - normal speed

Copying from Windows 98 to Windows XP initiated on Windows XP - very slow speed

I never found any solution.
