microsoft update with Nlite 1.2.1

Featured Replies

I have a problem with Microsoft automatic update.

When it's enabled, the 'svchost.exe' service is taking all the CPU for a long time.

And it also keeps eating memory!! The service is getting bigger and bigger on memory usage (70mb and keep on going …). :}

This situation also occurs when I'm logging manually on Microsoft update site.

I have the same problem on different computers.

It's extremely annoying!! :angry:

Does anyone have an answer?

i've had that problem with a normal xp pro sp2 disc (was definatly not nlited or or unofficial files on the disc), don't know what causes it :(

This may be off topic

May I suggest you a thing according to my little poor experience?

I suggest to integrate ryan pack as soon as it get released, because when I install any updates from MS website using windows update function I realize that performance is not the same as if integrated the update with ryan pack.

and it will not be hard to keep your CD updated from time to time.

Thanks
