MGadAllah Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 Any way to shrink 2007 the same way we used to do with previous release?
Shark007 Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 Any way to shrink 2007 the same way we used to do with previous release?I haven't put alot of effort into this, but have had a look at its feasability. All of the files have digital signatures and if these signatures are broken the program wont install. In view of the above, I dont think reducing the source is possible.Hopefully I'll be proven wrong...shark
MGadAllah Posted November 25, 2006 Author Posted November 25, 2006 All of the files have digital signatures and if these signatures are broken the program wont install.Windows drivers is using the same feature also ( I mean digital signature), and we put an entry in WINNT.SIF to be able to use Bashrat driver packDriverSigningPolicy=Ignore, is it the same issue, or totally different?I've realized that you are a moderator now, Congratulation Shark

MGadAllah Posted November 25, 2006 Author Posted November 25, 2006 -> http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=72392&hl= Thanks for your help; I know about this post, but unattended is not the issue; while reducing the size is the main issue, if you have any idea about doing it, it will be much appreciated. Thanks
MGadAllah Posted November 26, 2006 Author Posted November 26, 2006 Any one can do a tool like Office Shrinker [reduce source of o2k3/xp/2k] for buckeyeXP
Wesmosis Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 maybe someday bro Muhammed our dream will come true
ZileXa Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Actually I hoped Office 2007 would NOT be shrinkable in the same way we shrunk Office XP/2003! Since that was really a very time-consuming and not very easy method.I hope it will be a lot easier to shrink!
