Hotfixes For Windows XP Professional SP1

Oh, I see. I slipstreamed the Update Rollup 1 but something might have gone wrong so what should I check? This is the only update from Update Rollup 1 that didn't install ok. Thanks for your help!

I confess to being a complete newbie to this. I didn't even know it was possible to do an unattended XP install...I just googled it and found this place! Anyway, I have been carefully trying to craft a disk and I would like it if someone would give me the complete file and directory list for everything within XPCD for XP Pro with hotfixes to date. BONUS HELP: What is the final install script for the hotfixes?

Well, the instructions say to come here for the list. I downloaded a buncha stuff and put it in the directory but I just want to see if I actually have it right. Comparing directory structures and items should do it.

to install the new MDAC Q832483

on Arons hotfixes page it says use

xxx_Q832483_MDAC_X86.EXE /C:"dahotfix.exe /q /n" /q

Can I simply replace the Q823718.exe in my example above with the new hotfix or

do I have to use Arons method.

I guess my issue im asking about is C:"dahotfix.exe /q /n" /q

on my old MDAC this was refered to /T:%systemdrive%\install\tmp /C:"%systemdrive%\install\tmp\dahotfix.exe /q /n" /Q

I had no idea that the contents of XPCD would be so secret. I would be helpful to see if I was able to follow the instructions by seeing what the proper results should be.

Well there's not much noticable difference, apart from the $OEM$ folder on the CD: http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/oemfolders.htm

And winnt.sif in the i386 directory.

1. Rename them all to a limit of 8 characters.

2. No point installing 817787 if you're going to install WMP9. Its an update only for WMP8.

3. Put 828026 after WMP9_MM2, otherwise you're trying to apply a WMP9 update to a system that doesn't have WMP9 installed.

4. Place 832483 and 832894 down the bottom of the list, stick to the number ordering
