Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 Professional Edition (32 Bit) (Compatibility warnings, but works)

Would that mean it won't let me install unless i did some sort of work around?

That just means that the installer will tell you that it doesn't work with Vista, but you can install anyway.

I get the same warnings with pcAnywhere - and it installed and works just fine for me. It depends on you hitting the "glitch" the causes the incompatibility.
