RJARRRPCGP Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 (edited) The C7 will provide better performance then a PIII, consider it a PIV at 1GHz with some extra features. There are some brands that sell uATX board with the chip mounted to it. In general those are the less-good brands like PC-Chips, for example the V21G (V1.0C).EDIT: Why don’t you go for a Sempron64 754 or AM2 with a nVidia 6100 chipset?I heard that the C7s rock. I heard that they perform as good as a Pentium M! It sounds like Via didn't make the mistake that they did with the C3s, which reportedly performed worse than Pentium 4s per clock and performed like a Pentium II.I'm just curious if there's any motherboards for them that let you OC them? But I don't like what I saw at the PCChips website, appears to likely be soldered on the motherboard and impossible to OC, just like the 486SXs! It seems that they think it's still the early 1990s! LOL. Edited December 12, 2006 by RJARRRPCGP
