Hi Jopster I removed the timer and uploaded a "Timer Free"-Version of XPES here:

XP-ES (Timer Free)

All links have the same source: http://www.yeek.com/~qmsfn/xpes/xpes-nc.exe

And I assume this is the last version.

Selective software installation is interesting topic, and a basic thing for me.

Because when is spend so much time to create a UA CD.

Then I want to use it for different systems and i want to be flexible too!

XP-ES is a nice additive tool for unattended Windows XP installations.

And for me with distance the best and easy to use too, which I found so far here.

I only now found it by coincidence.

In and case it should be taken up into the list of the

My Congratulations to Nephilim and Budster

@Alanoll

I saw more than 3300 views and 56 is not a little I mean.

Ok the start of the post is a little older too Sep 12 2003

By the way, when they started this unattended Windows Forum ?

My congratulation really very much informative!

If I want to use my UA Windows CD on different Systems

I want to have a choice witch software i want to install or not !

Let me compare, to a restaurant You would like to select also the meal or not?

Not only "unattended" Sauerkraut with bratwurst and no other choice haha..

Ok a little joke..

But as i said already XP-ES is a nice additive tool for unattended Windows XP installations. Serves the purpose and is easy to use.

Anyhow for me the simplest and best which I could found here so far!

Or someone can be recommended somewhat better ?

In and case it should be taken up into the list of the

Thank you!

Please excuse my English I am German

I've contacted the creator and this is his reply:

Hi,

I am so sorry to tell you that I will no longer continue to code on XPES. This is mainly because of a lack of time. Currently I haven't even time to continue my other unattended installation problems/projects.

But if you look around at the forum there are a couple of other projects that are way better than mine. Although some of them seem as they are not that user friendly they atleast look better than my tool ;-)

Sorry for your trouble,

Nephilim

the problem with adding it to the list, would be then it would get recognition and theproject is no more.

As a replacement for a selection program...

There is IceManD's Install prgraom.

There is also Wraith's XPDeploy. It's also a selection utility. It's in the XPlode subforum i believe.
