16 code removal

I noticed in nlite there is a removal of 16 bit code, is this safe? Does it safely remove the 16 bit code? will Windows XP Still run? John

I assume you can read [and write] from your post, so what is preventing the descriptions in the program from getting into the sight of your eyes?

And even if you couldn't read, you should still have enough sense to test the installation before fully implementing it.

if you run any old applications (in task manager you'll notice a process called ntvdm running) then keep it, if not, lose it!

the only thing i have that uses 16bit is ntport95.exe (its for my parallel lcd to install the driver), and only the setup uses it

of course xp will still run, you can select all options and xp will still run
