OT: Making a bootable DVD

Ok, I picked up my DVD+-RW this weekend (YEAH! NEW TOY!) Now I'm ready to make a single DVD install w/ all the extras. One prob, how do I make the DVD bootable using Nero 6.0?

I want to use both the DVD+RW (for trial runs) and the DVD+R discs that I bought. But the only option I see in Nero is for a MiniDVD. Maybe I need to reinstall?

the same you way you make a bootable cd. You use the exact same switches but when it asks you what kind of project you want make shure to go down and select bootable dvd instead of bootable cd.

I think he's saying that he only sees one dvd option--a mini dvd. It is kinda hard to select an option he doesn't have.

I wish I were of more help, but I don't have a dvd burner so..

Yeah, I seem to be missing that option. Do you thinks it's due to not having a DVDRW installed when I installed Nero?

make sure you are booting from a dvd-rom/dvd-ram drive. wont work on just a cd-rom/rw drive

I'm trying to create a bootable DVD, not boot from one.....yet.

Reinstall latest version with the DVD burner installed.
