onkars Posted September 7, 2003 Posted September 7, 2003 can anyone just upload an xp cd without the data .just the folders and the winnt.sif and the other batch files so that i can modify those and just add my files .what i am looking for is just the xp cd make sure it is trhe unattednd xp cd which u use and works which consists of all the folderss and the extra .cmd and .sif files so i will add the data like the files inside i386 folder etcas i have alreday wasted 10 cds .the only prob is that the setup works but it is not un attended so i am a little bored right now.laso i have goyt my hands on the xp sp1 opk tools cd if anyone needs it i can give him the link from my sever but one condition that person should download the copy and upload it to some other place and give that link to others so guys who have space for about 355 mb pm me or mail me at onkar585@yahoo.com

jdgordon Posted September 8, 2003 Posted September 8, 2003 the problem with ur request is that every1s is gonna be differnt...the main thing is that is has to be something like this...CD:\I386\winnt.sifCD:\$OEM$\$1\(cmd and folders go here)what i have done is created a folder under $1 called winxpsetup and had all the install files and folders and cmd scripts under that becuase setup copies the contents of $1 to the %systemdrive% i.e c:\ so u could end up with heaps of scripts and folders u dont need, so with the xtra folder it only copyies 1 folder which is alot easier to delete...hth
