joan_toko Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Hello, My laptop fall down and it seems that some of its jack were broke down. I cannot afford buying a new laptop, is there a possibility of replacing just the hitted parts?

I should open it up and solder it back in place sometime...I didn't know there would be a whole site for the sale of these things If just the connectors were broken (or more likely, just dislodged from the mobo) it's an easy repair.

Buy some cheap kit and assemble it to learn.Another skill you need to practice (again not on your laptop) is de-soldering... Very critical to get the bad parts out of the way.
