t2contra Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 (edited) Probably because my source is a recovery cd, I got the message "What's your Computer's name?" at T-33 andalthough the space is filled with the name, I need to hit the "Enter" key, making it less unattended. Can nuhi look into it?Still v1.2 is a big improvement for me. With previous versions, I could not get autologon even with Cancerface's Createuser. Edited October 16, 2006 by t2contra
shodan Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Hi,I set my computer name in "Unattended" step tab "Network ID"then Computer Nameoh btw, when I try to rename my administrator account to the same thing as my computer name, nlite complaints that you can't have them be the same .. , it'll let you do it if you press next twice and so far windows didn't give me any trouble and I've been using it like that since january !
t2contra Posted October 16, 2006 Author Posted October 16, 2006 Computer name is set in the Network ID tab. I don't suppose changing admininstrator to user name has anything to do with computer name.
mr_smartepants Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 I am also having this problem. Using Nlite 1.3RC2, boooggy's WMP11 integrator and Ryan's 2.1.6 pack. I have the computer name declared in the WINNT.SIF file yet the install halts and waits for input (press enter). I can post my .SIF file when I get home from work. Apart from this problem, my XP install CD is flawless. This problem occurs on real hardware and virtual machine.
nuhi Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 Select Fully Automated for the Unattended Mode. Select if no password to no password of fill one.Select the Timezone and fill out the Workgroup.
