Whenever i download any file from the internet whether it is an *.exe file or *.zip file, i am getting an image in the upper left hand corner inside Internet Explorer and nothing else.I cannot get the "open", "save", "cancel" options at all.I have re-installed IE thru INF and also registered IE DLL's and optimized IE completely and nothing works...!Does anybody have any clue why it does.Thanks in advance... October 13, 200619 yr If you click (or rclick, can't remember right now) on the yellow-ish band that appears under the menu toolbar in IE, you will be presented with a small menu where you can choose to download the file. It's some sort of protection against malicious downloads.

October 15, 200619 yr When i right click on the file i can do "save as" without any problem.Then do it that way. Many sites specifically tell you to do that instead of just clicking on the link.
