sam13484 Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Update for Oct 6/06 is out, but I'm having trouble accessing their server and some of the alternate download sites. Does anyone have a working link to the definition file SE1R125 05.10.2006?Thanks.
KingAuther Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 (edited) Sometimes having troubles in accessing websites and forums, is a logjam of old browser cache and cookies...If you are running an after-market browser, it might be time to clean out the old configurations if you've been updating the thing a lot... Save your favorites in a word file, uninstall the browser, run a search and destroy, in Find and Regedit for everything related to that browser, reboot, and install the new download...While you're at it run regedit to destroy: macromedia, backweb, desktopmessenger, showbehind, and shockwave.. then run all the features in Power Defragger... The surface scan is crucial, given that even new hard drives can develop bad clusters...Check-out Seamonkey 1.1.. It has a spell checker at work as you compose on the Net... Tarun Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Ad-Aware recently changed their entire webpage and even some of the locations. The have a few new URL's so that takes time to update in the DNS Cache. You can go to Start > Run > cmd and type in ipconfig /flushdns.Def files pageDownload Ad-Aware defs.
