- Do NOT use this package if you have Windows Media Player 7/9/10 installed!
What happened to 8?

Anyway, the only codecs I have installed on this machine are ffdshow, QuickTime Alt., and Real Alt..

suggest add media classic on it too... and handle all media

on my repository is an MPC addon package that does just that.

quicktime mp3 plugin still there.... it must get rid of .... cannot save mp3 by clicking on mp3 link from firefox.... it will be play by quicktime....

since version 4.1, you can choose to Modify the pack with the icon provided, and select to remove the MP3 plugins (as you suggested)

remove flash / shockwave plugins....

make them separated.... because they are not codec....

They are so small. it means nothing to have them there offering support to those needing it because there is a lot of this content on the internet.

glad you're still checking it out :thumbup

Since i know a that few media guru's frequent this section of MSFN, I thought i'd bump this thread an ask that you revisit my codec package.

Recent changes have reduced the overall size by more than 25% without losing functionality. I'm mostly looking for input in reducing it even further and if any of you have suggestions of useless content, i'd like to hear about it.

Thanks again for taking the time to look at it ...
