August 31, 200323 yr Here is my current Hotfix file...IM hoping some may be able to point out the problems. From what i understan i may have some hotfixes that modify the same file and that my be causing some of my problems. if anyone can weed those ones out id be very thankful.-Hotfix Q823718 is not installing slilently--Current errors on install " Another installation is already in progress. Complete that installation before proceeding with this install."- And finally when i reboot after full slient install i get this error " A problem is preventing from accurately checking the licence from this computer. Error code 0x80004005" thats occuring on start up and does not allow be to login whats so ever!Any help would be fantastic!! August 31, 200323 yr First are all them patchs crital updates and not just recommended updates.if some are recommended updates i would say you dont need more remove them frist then try your hotfixes again and see if any errors come up.

September 1, 200323 yr How would someone like to download all the critical updates, zip it up, and whack in a hotfixes.cmd for all us lazy people? That way if people start to download that, and modify it as they choose, diagnosing problems would be a little easier.

September 1, 200323 yr I do .. but im not sure which ones are redundant or not. Ive just downloaded almost every patch (except the ones that are in different languages, and ones that fix problems for software i dont have).

You will need to have sp1 installed first. I will try to get this out tomarrow if I have time. I wanted to get it out today but I just now got my system up and running and I dont really want to stay up much later. I originaly got thiws idea and the orginal cmd file from another guy on these forums but i have since greatly enhanced it to include many more hot fixes than the original would work with.

September 1, 200323 yr well what I have could not exactly be called a hotfix list as it does oh so much more than that. Really though it is much more automatic than that.

September 1, 200323 yr Yes I have it that way already but durring the install for some reason it can't find were it extracts the files to. I hate that part. I will most liekly have to add another switch to get it working but that is a rather minor issue right now.
