I'm no gamer but RuneScape, Is this a Online html/java based game?.

if so = This pic normaly shows if the browser (IE, Firefox etc.) is missing java support or/and

this kind of source code is blocked whit Bult-in Firewall or Windows Firewall

:)

PS. RuneScape has a stand-alone Tech-Forum:

I have been playing for 5 years ive seen everything, but its not my firewall trust me. I just turned it off, nothing, also windows firewall is disabled as a service so it's not that either.

No, I dont use firefox to play it, I use their RuneScape Client that is just for the game and runs through IE, but when I open it in IE it runs in Java SUN applet instead of the Default setting when used in the RuneScape Client.

If i turn off the java applet in the internet options I get the red X in IE.

I've seen funny stuff happen like this before with both VMs installed. Try going to IE's options and look at the "Advanced" tab. Monkey around with either or both of the VM/JRE settings you find in there (depends on what you currently have installed and your IE version).

This will involve rebooting a few times to get it right.

Don't forget to use one of the lower IE security levels on the "Security" tab. Higher settings can hinder such things.
