Dear All,

Wnen running WPI from its usual location, it works smoothly and without a glitch...its' perfect

However, I cant figure out why I get errors when running WPI from AutoPlay Media Studio and choose the options section, then an error windows pop up

The first error is normal any time you open the options wizard for the first time. It cannot open useroptions.js because it has not been created yet. The second one probably has to do with the permissions you have on the WPI folder. Looks like WPI is read-only.

I don't know anything about AutoPlay Media Studio, but its definitely a permissions issue. I'm just going to guess that it is some type of simulator for media, in which case all your files are read-only. Your options should be set before you burn WPI to media.

I've also seen both messages. The last message was solved by changing the working directory to the top level where wpi.hta lives...in my case, I put all the wpi files in a folder called bin. See this post for the folder structure here.

After that change, it allowed me to change and save all the wpi settings and configuration.
