TV card

Featured Replies

Hi there... A friend of mine gave me a tv pci card, i have installed the driver's but the programs don't start, i had downloaded the pinnacle software and nothing... i tried everything!!! :)

Have you installed the software that goes with the card? It's usually available on the manufacturer website.

Have you installed the latest drivers?

Is it compatible with your OS (wich OS do you use?)

if you have no luck with the supplied/proprietary driver(s), have a look at www.dscaler.com. it's an open source tv card tool that bypasses your o/s and goes straight to the card. i haven't used it personally, but i know people who have and they recommend it. may be worth a try. :)

I happend to be messing with my tv card today, you should hook your sound upto the line in on your sound card and be sure mute is off under windows sound options...

I've been experimenting trying to record, so far this is the highest quality on my pos card...
