the_guy Posted October 1, 2006 Author Posted October 1, 2006 The MCE version of 902344 looks for 2 registry keys on your computer. They are not included on a non-MCE install. Slipstreaming the update should include it though.the_guy
Tomcat76 Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 I just read from the Unattended Install forum that MU doesn't show WGA Notifications anymore. Should this be removed from HFSLIP?Not much point, really. All that the current test releases do is exclude wgalogon.dll from being registered. HFSLIP also renames LegitCheckControl.dll to LCC.dll but that's a global rename that covers the standalone LegitCheckControl.dll (from the CAB) as well. So it's really just this:ECHO>>WORK\NSFREGNOT.TXT wgalogon.dllSo let's just keep it in... In any case, WGAN has been updated to v1.5.0554.0.Funny... The binaries are dated September 20, but they included version 1.5.554 of LegitCheckControl.dll even though version 1.5.708 was released as a standalone on August 7. It's so true that the Microsoft corporation is divided into different segments... Probably one just came back from an extended vacation...
