m16si Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 I got a Radeon 9800 Pro my friend gave it to me but...It has a problem it't overheating and im not talking about hot GPU im talking about Scorchy Gpu....And yes i have very good cooler+fan i replaced original one...The card works but only for about 10-20 min that computer shutsdown because of too much heating..Any ideas ?thnx

LLXX Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 Make sure there is sufficient airflow *to* the fan, not just the fan itself.If the case cooling is bad, the components inside will just keep using the same recirculated air and heat up more.
