Though with only 64MB of memory you might find it only supported at lower resolutions.

thats right, but it should be enough for 1024x768 or 1280x1024.

that matches some of the information i've been reading around the internet but microsoft don't seem to confirm it on their website  i guess i'll find out when i get it!

I have an X600 64 MB card in my laptop. It runs Glass at 1400x1050 just fine. Glass is enabled as soon as you start up Beta 2 (and later builds) for the first time.

Can we put this to rest now?

Raskren is right,

If Aero start with your card once you boot up beta 2, or after you run the preformance assesment tool, then it will work. If not well then a requirement is not met and it will not work

I have Compaq Presario SR1610IL with AMD A64 3200+ or MS-7184 OEM mobo which have onboard graphics

ATI Radeon Xpress 200 with sharing 64MB RAM

I m trying vista beta 2 build 5308 and i m taking aero glass flip 3D experince without any problem.

but audio and chipset driver are not available becoz of OEM mobo, I have to wait for driver release for Vista

from HP Compaq.

any body have its solution
