What's the deal with these types of patches. Does Microsoft Product Support Services charge for them? Why don't they just make them available like other patches?

Why would you want to download this from anywhere but microsoft?

Anyone who downloads OS hotfixes from rapidshare is opening themselves up to all kinds of problems.

I was also wondering this all the time,maybe they do this to not have too make these patches for everyone

or because these are mostly non-security bugs.
