As a start I'll by asking the MS Word experts in the group on how to get the settings back to where I can paste text, it tries to insert all copied text as a bitmap image and not text and the paste special only offers 2 options and both are images not text. The quick answer is to re-install Word because the settings will be restored. Do not uninstall Word. Just pop in the CD and select install. Nothing will be lost such as documents.
