Does anyone have the problem where the tweaks that are checked in nlite don't take effect?

I placed some visual tweaks like "shadow under menus" etc. and they don't seem to take effect.

Any ideas?

hi!

i actually noticed the same when setting shadow of icon labels to dsiabled ... shadows still show.

Some tweaks do not work, especially visual tweaks.

I have some reg tweaks to import at T-12/T-13 for visual tweaks. I can't post them right now. Search the forum, they are somewhere.

So I guess the best way to get full-proofed tweaks is to run your own tweaks in a .reg file right?

After my nlite WinXp is finished with its installation .... A menu comes in saying customizing Internet, Outlook and Themes....

And then my desktop icons come with the blue background.. ( Without the Drop Shadows)

Are any of these addons causing the Drop Shadow visual effect to be turned off?

On top to make sure the Drop shadow is on.. I activate a Visual Effects.reg file but it does no difference

Anyone experienced this before?

Try setting the wallpaper as a BMP image (not jpg or any other format), and checking if the drop shadows come back

I've had this problem ever since I started using RyanVm Update Pack 2.1.0

The drop shadows are not enabled altought i have a reg tweak that enables it..

Obviously the updatepack is causing some settings to be changed...

Anybody had this problem yet.. Is there a way to fix it??

The nLite section is NOT a place for RyanVM issues! Their is a forum just for that...

Its something I removed from my xp cd with nlite..

But I still don't know what it is!

Not removed, tweaked.

Try to reset the visual settings through the Control panel - system - advanced - performance settings
