m16si Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 While im playing my favourite games (BF2, COD, COD2,...) a strange beeping starts. It doesn't come from pc speaker but from my desktop speakers.And the wierd thing is i have all keyboard stupid hotkeys turned off....So what the fu** ???????The beeping occurs after 15-30 min....Please Help !TO4_Slo
ringfinger Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 Could it be any kind of temp monitoring alarm going off after 15-30 mins of 3D gaming? Check to be sure there are no built in apps into your MB or vid card software that are kicking off. You could also have alrms for fan speeds. I'd check those things first.
Kelsenellenelvian Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 I agree it has to do with some kind of alarm, most likely due to temperatures considering that it only happens after some time of gaming. You need to get a temp monitoring program (Lets assume for now your motherbaord supports that) like cpu-z and as soon as the beeping starts go and check your temps.
trickytwista Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 yep i agree with the other guys, i would say its a temperature issue as games can hammer cpu quite a bit so it would make temperature go up
