ripken204 Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 well first off read thishttp://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=77890what you want to do is to test ur cpu, put the ram on a huge divider. then go ahead and up the mhz/vcore on ur cpu.
kartel Posted August 13, 2006 Author Posted August 13, 2006 .........anyways, someone with first-hand knowledge on the board would be greatly appreciated........thanks
weEvil Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Don't the ram and the cpu FSBs have to match for best performance? Otherwise the slowest FSB slows down both.Right?
ripken204 Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 .........anyways, someone with first-hand knowledge on the board would be greatly appreciated........thanksthe odds of someone having this board and overclocking with it and on this forum is pretty low.i would suggest using everrest to benchmark your memory and just use whatever setting yeilds the best results. Don't the ram and the cpu FSBs have to match for best performance? Otherwise the slowest FSB slows down both.Right?yes that is correct, and that is also in the guide.
