A better boot screen?

the more colors you the worse it looks, i think blue is just fine.

however i would have to ask why arent we just hacking this into the kernal and haveing a scroll bar?

I prefer the current bootscreen. Looks more professional to me.

Bootscreen mod causes a problem though; people complained about scandisk text or other messages not showing up. Something like Bootskin or Boot Screen Changer (both free) should be used instead, IMHO.

Every time you hack into the kernel, there's a chance that you might mess something up. You won't know for sure until a problem actually arises, since the Windows kernel is so complex.
