August 7, 200620 yr I'm trying to sell some proccessors that I was given for some work I did (as seen here: Auction )I was asked the question of weather or not the proccessor is a P3 or P4. Does anyone know if this is a P3 or P4 or if it would even be labeled as such?
August 7, 200620 yr P3/P4 and Xeon all different processor by design and labeling schemes, based on the S/N on the processoer itself, you can find out the proper type, model, and speed. Edited August 7, 200620 yr by Shindo_Hikaru
August 7, 200620 yr The Xeon you're selling is based off of the Netburst architecture (I think) and shares many similarities with the P4. If I were you, I'd ask for clarification as to what's he's inquiring about.
August 7, 200620 yr http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SL7D4afaik this processor is classified as a p4
August 7, 200620 yr On the Box look for a alpha/numeric box code like this. Based on that, info, do a search on Intel.com and you will get the complete spec of the processor. Example: BX80532KE2400D
