My new 300gb Sata II Seagate died on me in 4 days

pops clicks beeps the works. the system wouldnt go beyond "verifying DMI pool data"

my main system drive.. which is a 80gb Deathstar was also giving problems but it turned out to be the ATA Cable.

well for the seagate thats not really a problem. if you but a new drive and it dies in a few days then its just a goof in the drive and you can get another one..
