gamehead200 Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 Hey everyone,I thought it would be a good time for a change, so I gave a shot at a new sig and avatar... I will be making a small change to the signature so that I can add my PHP script to it.Comments and suggestions are welcome! SignatureAvatar #1 Avatar #2
Shindo_Hikaru Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 Nice, i like Avator #2, by the way the current sign with the suppose IP, not my ip.
tain Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 #2 will make a nice avatar. Be sure to use thick, contrasted lettering for your dynamic signature text or it will get lost in that busy background.BTW, is there a concept behind your design? Like a stylized UPC, perhaps?
gamehead200 Posted August 5, 2006 Author Posted August 5, 2006 Nice, i like Avator #2, by the way the current sign with the suppose IP, not my ip.You must be using IPv6! I bet you your LAN IP is showing up instead, right? Something that starts with 10.2.x.x? No concept behind it... Was just bored and decided to do something in Photoshop...
gamehead200 Posted August 5, 2006 Author Posted August 5, 2006 Ahhh... Whatever... Switched it right now and added my Hamachi status in the top right-hand corner for now... We'll see what else I can do with it...
WolfX2 Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 (edited) very nice, you used a noise gradient for the background right? if it were me, i would lower the radius on the corners of the avatar to about 4 or 5, it looks a bit too rounded Edited August 5, 2006 by WolfX2

Used a a blue to black gradient and then applied the Wave filter with some adjustments, then did the same thing to a white to transparent gradient. Av fixed.
