I'm surprised they could affor it. I heard bad reviews from many of SanDisk's products.

how does sandisk buying a competitor make the market more competitive? it makes it LESS competitive which is their goal.

flash technology is oldhat, they should have spent money on newer technology instead of riding it into the ground.

toshiba is also fond of investing large amounts of money into old technology, so it doesn't surprise me these two companies from the dark ages are cooperating.

investors should get out while they can.

Much like how does AMD buying ATI become more compeative.

but if there's less competition, then how is it more competitive? please explain how amd+ati makes it more competitive? there are only 2 cpu manufacurers that matter and each are trying their hardest.

AMD as of right now is CPU

ATI as of right now is GPU

Nvidia is GPU and chipsets

Intel is CPU, GPU, chipsets.

Did you read in detail about the pending buy out or skim it through.
