In windows Internet Explorer, you can enable and disable playing sounds/video files in internet explorer (limited) by removing it from the check list in TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS > ADVANCE

Try that approach first, if it continues to play in IE, then it is on to the next step, the next step involved restting the media bar in IE so that you can slect it to play in Media Player instead of media bar.

The first option (disable IE from playing sound) don't work and give me error when it open WMP.

The next step--> i don't know how to involve Media bar in IE. Can u tell me How?

Look through the source code of the page.

In this case you may have to look through a few auxillary javascript files, to determine what LaunchBroadcast function does (I'm thinking it's in listen.js... not sure though)

If you have not previously set preferences or attempted to play media from within the browser window, the Media Bar Settings dialog box appears when the user first clicks a link to a media file.

You then can then opt to play media files in Internet Explorer, If you already specified preferences or opened the Windows Media Player might need to reset their media preferences.

To do so, they can first open the Media Bar by clicking the Media icon on the toolbar, or by choosing Explorer Bar from the View menu and selecting Media. When the Media Bar is visible, users can choose Settings from the Media Options menu on the Media Bar player control, and then select Reset preferred types.
