Internet Explorer Proxy

What settings do I need to make it work. I know where it goes just need the settings.

you need to go to tools --> internet options --> connections tab. also, you will need thse settings of your proxy and the port(s) to connect to. check with your isp.

Not those settings, i put my ip of my proxy in. And it dont work. It use to. Do I need any other things set to make it work?

I keep getting this error:

"The page cannot be displayed"

or I get a plain white page.

RE: your other topic: What proxy did you install?

Did you designate a port for it to listen on?

You will likely use the settings of IP 127.0.0.1 and port 80 or 8080.

yeah i entered the number and port in it didnt work.

I just wanted to see if it worked thats all. Just don't know why it dont now
