[Question] satellite cable vs TV cable ?

i've single LNB receiving NileSat broadcast ( Free to air ) connected to a main receiver.

i was thinking of adding another receiver through loop out...

OK, if you are planning to send signal from your reciver, your reciver will need to be on. If you are looping out or splitting from revicer then it needs to be one, however what ever the channel is on when the revicer is on, it will show that channel to all locations split from.

If you split from LNB, you would need more then one reciver if it is supported.
