awergh Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 ok, so you can install firefox 1.xx.xx on 95 rather than using beta 0.8 or something alternativly you could use sea monkey which also supports 95

FF 2.0B1 fixes the W9X un-installer problem found in FF versions 1.5.0.2 to 1.5.0.6. When trying to remove FF 1.5.0.2 - 1.5.0.6 under Win95/98/ME the un-installer hangs and does nothing. Win9x FF un-install bug is mentioned here:https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=338752
jimmsta Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 (edited) Personally, Portable Firefox is best IMHO for Win9x systems. Get it here: http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portableedit: more direct link. Site states that it's compatible with Win 95 through Vista. Edited August 14, 2006 by jimmsta
