gateway address

Heya dirt, haven't see you in a while :hello:

If you don't know your netmask then it is most likely 255.255.255.0

and your gateway is probably 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.100.1

Try using DHCP instead of setting these manually unless you need to go static.

Does this help you? I am assuming your actual goal is to get connectivity, not to find an ipconfig replacement...

Why doesn't 'ipconfig /all' work on your machine? Did you HFCLEANUP it out? ;)

I have mostly just been reading the forums and not posting much. The reason HMMM well I started a new job and I havnt experimented(destroyed) windows for a while, I have been leaving windows alone mostly and using a safer(mostly) setup. I bought ZetaOS and to connect to the net it needed the network stuff to be entered manually<sigh> but it seemed pretty cool. I will try a program bober suggested as well as the settings you listed to get connected.
