hyipo Posted June 15, 2006 Posted June 15, 2006 (edited) For all the person server owners out there what about a PHP addonHeck if you can get IIS included with certian Operating Systems what about PHP. Edited July 8, 2006 by ZcWorld
Martijn Posted June 15, 2006 Posted June 15, 2006 The WAMP package can be installed with a switch but it will still ask where to put your www directory, etc. So I recommend installing it only through unattended mode, not through an addon.
hyipo Posted June 15, 2006 Author Posted June 15, 2006 (edited) I mean PHP standalone. WAMP might install Apache which might conflict with IIS. Edited June 15, 2006 by hyipo
ZcWorld Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 short answer : NO!whycoz you gotta set up where php is to copy files over to the windows folderand than setup the IIS to work with php so its a lot of assing around
ZcWorld Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 IIS is MS and is closed codePHP Is not own / control by MS so to have a PWS with php you need to use apache to have it pre install n config or you have fun with setting php up with IIS .. but its way taxing on the CPU to do any PHP work
