Super-Magician Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 John: You must place a copy of Microsoft's extract.exe (NOT EXPAND.EXE) in the HFTOOLS folder.
RBCC Posted June 2, 2006 Author Posted June 2, 2006 (edited) Ok, I put the extract.exe file in the HFTools folder and I got the messages below on the screen, what have I done wrong? John Edited June 2, 2006 by RBCC
Super-Magician Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Which OS are you slipstreaming? For Windows XP, you can find extract.exe in SUPPORT.CAB on the installation CD. For 2000 and 2003, you can find it here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310618/. The actual file is located in the BIN folder.By the way, some addons are not supported by HFSLIP or simply don't work. It is up to the addon maker to make sure their addons work properly. Garbage in, garbage out.
Tomcat76 Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Which expand.exe did you use? What's wrong is that you didn't read the changelog
