HJW
Hello everybody,I've or better I and my Multiboot pal have written a little program that integrates your windows updates into your xp directory. It isnt such a smart code as nlite or Powerpacker. But it doesnt mean it's crap..It makes use of the integrate switch which most hotfixes carries with them.It only automates this method:Windows-KBxxxxx.exe /integrate:<xpcdpath>Not any revelutionair piece of coding. But it may be handy...who knows? Anyway I 've been using this prog for a while and I still like it.XP HotFix Integrator - Direct LinkDigi-Masters' homepageGreetz Edited May 26, 2006 by 5128

HGK
Hey peeps, how is the tool? (I'm the co-developer of XP Hotfix Integrator ) Edited May 31, 2006 by Freakyboy
JoeMSFN
it would be great if u would make it direct integrate the hotfixes..........Here's the real discussion starter. Either svcpack 'em (I think it's the microsoft way), or directly integrate by replacing the contents of compressed files.Pro's of direct replacement, faster installs. Of course the cons are you are messing with the installs, and possibly have a bunch of errors in your logs, with inexplicable problems later.Either way of course requires testing the installer before putting it into production.Choose wisely grasshopper
