I'm sure there's a registry key to do that without burning another iso. Anyone knows it?Thanx a lot,Filippo

majesticdawn Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 I'm posting this in plain text, because MSFN has a DISGUSTING SIGNUP REQUIREMENT to download files. Plus the security system is so bad that I couldn't even register the first time. What's the difference between 0 and O in an image that is designed to be obscure? Nice one guys. Really p***es me off.Disable:Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ACPI\Parameters]"Attributes"=dword:00000070Enable:Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ACPI\Parameters]"Attributes"=dword:00000070

GrofLuigi Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 This is dangerous. That key isn't used only for this. Now, if there was some description of different possible values anywhere, it would be another story... GL
GrofLuigi Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Now, if there was some description of different possible values anywhere, it would be another story...There is. In biosinfo.inf. (and the tweak above is correct -> it disables S1, S2 and S3 states.)GL
