not entirely sure what your pointing at in that picture, if your talking about the coloured panel that usually goes behind it or the actual menu bit then that is part of the shellstyle.dll that will be in a sub dir of your current theme located in Windows\Resources\Themes\

I think you can't use JPG files in wallpapers.

Same thing with .bmp. Don`t Work.

Change the Default Wallpaper to the one you want

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop]
"Wallpaper"="C:\\WINDOWS\\Web\\Wallpaper\\bk.bmp"

The wallpaper wont just change when you enter the new reg key, you will need to logoff and on again for it to take effect.

Something is missing me..

I have the file:

over7ov.jpg

And the Tweak:

over25yt.png

I reboot the pc but the tweak doesn't work..

If you are using a custom theme, the wallpaper setting comes from that. The .theme file holds the wallpaper setting and it overrides the other setting. Look in C:\windows\Resources\Themes for the .theme files. It will look like this:

[Theme]
DisplayName=@themeui.dll,-2017

; My Computer
[CLSID\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\DefaultIcon]
DefaultValue=%WinDir%explorer.exe,0

; My Documents
[CLSID\{450D8FBA-AD25-11D0-98A8-0800361B1103}\DefaultIcon]
DefaultValue=%WinDir%SYSTEM32\mydocs.dll,0

; My Network Places
[CLSID\{208D2C60-3AEA-1069-A2D7-08002B30309D}\DefaultIcon]
DefaultValue=%WinDir%SYSTEM32\shell32.dll,17

; Recycle Bin
[CLSID\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}\DefaultIcon]
full=%WinDir%SYSTEM32\shell32.dll,32
empty=%WinDir%SYSTEM32\shell32.dll,31

[Control Panel\Cursors]
Arrow=
Help=
AppStarting=
Wait=
NWPen=
No=
SizeNS=
SizeWE=
Crosshair=
IBeam=
SizeNWSE=
SizeNESW=
SizeAll=
UpArrow=
DefaultValue=Windows default
DefaultValue.MUI=@themeui.dll,-2043

[Control Panel\Desktop]
Wallpaper=%WinDir%web\wallpaper\Bliss.bmp
Wallpaper.MUI=@themeui.dll,-2036
TileWallpaper=0
WallpaperStyle=2
Pattern=
ScreenSaveActive=1

[VisualStyles]
Path=%ResourceDir%\Themes\luna\luna.msstyles
ColorStyle=NormalColor
Size=NormalSize

[boot]
SCRNSAVE.EXE=%WinDir%\System32\logon.scr

[MasterThemeSelector]
MTSM=DABJDKT
ThemeColorBPP=8

Notice the My computer, My documents , My network places and recycle bin at the top? that allows you to change the icons for those and under the VisualStyles you will see the wallpaper. Hope this helps

I have the same problem. The wallpaper will not change. I am just using the standard theme. I want to get rid of bliss and have no wallpaper.

Also want to change the default screen saver

If you're speaking about the desktop wallpaper, the reg entry is this one:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
Wallpaper="c:\windows\wallpaper.bmp"

if you want to have it for the current user only.

And in

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop
Wallpaper="c:\windows\wallpaper.bmp"

if you want to set it for all users (but you have to set it before any user log on once.).

No, go here is the tweak that I use for Wall Paper and Screen Saver, unfortunately, it does not work

;Remove Wallpaper, set ScreenSaver
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop]
"SCRNSAVE.EXE"="%SystemRoot%\\system32\\Screensaver.scr"
"ScreenSaveActive"="1"
"Wallpaper"=""
"WallpaperStyle"="2"
"OriginalWallpaper"=""

;Remove Logon Wallpaper, set ScreenSaver, Faster Start Menu, Kill Non Responsive Applications
[HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop]
"ScreenSaveActive"="1"
"SCRNSAVE.EXE"="%SystemRoot%\\system32\\Screensaver.scr"
"Wallpaper"=""
"WallpaperStyle"="2"
"OriginalWallpaper"=""
"TileWallpaper"="0"
"MenuShowDelay"="2"
"AutoEndTasks"="1"
"WaitToKillAppTimeout"="2000"

Any suggestions?
