quiet gfx card cooling

I am silencing my pc this weekend, with the aerocool extreme 3t, and the thermaltake big typhoon, but how can I make my x800pro be cooled silently, because it does get noisy when I play games, is there a way to force fan speeds down?

yes i belive ati tool will do this for you, be warned tho, the fan is noisy because the card has found the need for more speed, manualy slowing this down may cause damage to your card.

if you are serious about makeing it quieter then id recomend the zalaman vfs-700 its a lot more efficient and quiter.

you could always get a third party heatsink for it, such as the ati silencer
