I have a similiar setup, the computer turns on when it is plugged in, so all that is needed is a timer?

indeed but all im sayin is if i can find out why my wake up alarm isnt booting my system i can aviod buying a timer which id prefer, shutdown is no problem i found a small util which has options i require and is also free!!

Any tips on auto logon for special occasions? Maybe a small batch or something to write a reg entry or whatnot...

of course bios will be on wake up, but I wonder if this is possible if the pc is given a command, wake from bios, autologon and revert to no autologon.

Anyone?
