deathwarder
I cannot afford that, and the review didnt sound too good, anything good on newegg? and what about cpu coolers?
ripken204
the scythe ninja is a very silent heatsink. u can run it passive if u have good airflow but i have a fan running at low speed so i cant hear it but it cools good.
deathwarder
can you send a link?EDIT:Also, here are the cases, cpu coolers, and thermal paste I am thinking ofcase:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811119068http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811144177cpu coolerhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811119068http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811144177thermalpaste:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16835100007I am also getting this sound card, just mentioning this incase newegg has any dealshttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16829102003The point of all this is to keep my computer cool and quiet. Also where cases are concerned I like more than 2 external 5.25 drive bays, one external 3.5, and I chose the cases because they looked biggish and I like either A.Understated efficiency or B.A cool looking case Edited April 29, 2006 by deathwarder

deathwarder
ok, I decided on the centurion from its reviews, although some people said that the drive bays are too small, but anyway, for the fan, here is what I am looking at nowhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16835101001ASUS P5M2 80mm SuperFlo CPU Cooling Fan/Heatsink - Retail at Newegg.comhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16835186134ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler - Retail at Newegg.comhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16835118003ZALMAN CNPS9500 AT 2 Ball CPU Cooling Fan/Heatsink - Retail at Newegg.comhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835185001Scythe SCNJ-1000P 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooling Fan/Heatsink - Retail at Newegg.com
ripken204
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16835106061either the ninja or this one
deathwarder
the reason I am not inclined towards the ninja is because of some bad reviews it got, this one had a lot of people saying it was hard to install, is it?
ripken204
well too bad they took down the ninja reviews of just the heatsink, not the one with the fan which is new. its not hard to install, but for some including me you just need to apply alot of pressure to the clips, but isnt that a good thing? better contact.
