Featured Replies

ok

i'm making something that i DON'T want to create incremental backups

i want it to create backups named..

backup1.7z

then next day create..

backup2.7z...

so if backup#.7z exists, create backup#+1.7z instead

can anyone help me here?

well u could make a program that will always be running, it will be stuck in an infinite loop where once a day it will make a backup and then a variable will be set to add 1 to itself.

there is a date variable, %date%.

while not 1,2,3-ect i feel thats more of a detail and easy to use
