how to copy data between hdd's from dos?

is ther any software that makes it possible to copy my files from one hdd to another from dos(not windows of course).cause both have same partition names(c,d,e..) so i dont think i can boot up the two of them at the same time.

Partitions are enumerated at boottime, i.e. drive letters are assigned dynamically. Just boot and copy the files over from within Windows will work, otherwise if you want to use DOS then research XCOPY command. Edited April 21, 2006 by LLXX
