Is there any program i can use eather then windows movie maker 2 take pics with a webcam ??? thanks

Well your camera software should come with some software...

If not i recommend photo shop or PhotoImpression 3.0.

You wasn't very clear in what you said (spelling errors?), but I assume you're trying to say you want to use something else to take webcam shots instead of using movie maker 2. Yes you can, any photo app that uses TWAIN acquire is able to take shots. Paintshop Pro 7 is one of them that's able to do it.

for some reason when you install it for the first time though the image has lots of effects on it and things, turn those off and its fine.

i also think that if you go to mycomputer, click on the camera and do "open camer" you can take snapshots there anyway, without using third party programs.
