A1ex Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 A question about this silent installtion method. I've done everything as noted, and installation works perfectly. However, I have noticed that only Adobe Photoshop and Adobe ImageReady are installed (there is no AdobeHelp, Adobe Bridge...). Does it have to work that way (or am I doing something wrong here).Thanks.

zakum Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Thanks for this, not bothered about adobe bridge or help so this is perfect for me. Downloaded and unrared just fine.

gmx Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 ^^ you could try copying %appdata%\adobe. it didn't work for me in vmware however might work on the computer. it was activated on
Spaceboard Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 IDM = Internet Dowload Manager, also file could be downloaded with Opera browser (when it says error you just click "Resume Transfer")
harez Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 abcpy.ini is the oldest metthod and sure shot to configure adobe products for silent install.

BenCesur Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 1:) First of all copy all the files from your installation Cd. After you have copied the files to a destination on your harddrive. Head into the directory "Adobe® Photoshop® CS2." 2:) Download the file that i have attached called "Adobe Photoshop CS2.rar." Decompress the "Adobe Photoshop CS2.msi" file and replace the original, with the one in the rar file. 3:) Edit the file "Abcpy.ini" in the same directory.;***************************************************************;Adobe Installer External Configuration File: Abcpy.ini;***************************************************************;***************************************************************;Main Section; The (Product) key is a required key;***************************************************************[MAIN]Product=Adobe(R) Photoshop CS2AbcpyVersion=2.0;***************************************************************;OEM Installation Options;***************************************************************[OEM Install]SERIALNUMBER=XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXSERIALNUMBERTRYOUT=USERNAME=Joe BlowCOMPANYNAME=mycomputer.comINSTALLDIR=4:)Excute command msiexec /i "[ path ]\Adobe Photoshop CS2.msi" /qnNow this will kill the inistial activation screen upon install. It will not kill it on the first inistial start of Photoshop. You will still have too go through your activation process. This file, and how-to just allows you to install silently withought the overwelmingly naggy activation screen upon successfull install! http://abadaba.googlepages.com/AdobePhotoshopCS2.rarIs understand upper I do but she is not working. Does this has do formed at the shape wonderfully?
