Wijono
Is there a way to implement “Lock Taskbar” for Win98SE that runs Internet Explorer 6 SP1? Perhaps by replacing a few system files?

Wijono
Tihiy, thanks a lot for your reply. But as I have asked you in your RP thread, it would be great if you could show me the way to implement the Lock Taskbar only by replacing some system files. Also is there a site I can download RPLite4 from other than Rapidshare? It is NOT possible to have the Lock Taskbar feature in Win9x systems by only replacing some Windows system files with the XP system files. you could ruin your 9x system that way (or cause 9x to have BSODs or even lockups).better off by just using RPLite4; you can get it here:http://rapidshare.de/files/13278307/RPl4Update.zip.htmlit's not that big, so you should be able to download this file without any problems. Wijono
Thanks erpdude8 for the hint. With Rapidshare it is really hopeless from my place.I ALWAYS get "Download-session invalid."
erpdude8
Thanks erpdude8 for the hint. With Rapidshare it is really hopeless from my place.I ALWAYS get "Download-session invalid."are u sure?try going to that address again (here it is):http://rapidshare.de/files/13278307/RPl4Update.zip.htmlClick on Free button to download the file for free. Select either one of the Rapidshare servers, enter the three letter code and click on the Download button. Rapidshare seem to work where I live as I have downloaded the actual file myself successfully. And the risk of replacing 98se system files with the xp versions of system files may also cause 98se to be unbootable and may require re-installing Win98se from scratch to undo the damage. that can be a real pain.if you want Wijono, I can email the RPL4 download to you if you're unable to obtain the download. Tihiy
Please notice that link you're providing is a RPLite4 update and it should be installed only on RPLite4, available from its topic. Edited April 7, 2006 by Tihiy
